Early life
Luke Littler was born on 21 January 2007 in Warrington, Cheshire. He is a professional darts player on the PDC circuit, known by the nickname “The Nuke”.
Career
Littler reached the 2024 PDC World Championship final at 16 — the youngest finalist in history — losing to Luke Humphries. A year later he won the 2025 PDC World Championship at 17 years and 347 days, the youngest world champion ever, taking the £500,000 prize.
He retained the title in January 2026, beating Gian van Veen 7–1 in the final and winning the £1,000,000 prize — the first seven-figure single-tournament cheque in darts. He is only the fourth player to win back-to-back PDC world titles, alongside Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson.
He also won Premier League Darts and the UK Open in 2024, the youngest winner of both, and was awarded an MBE in the June 2025 Birthday Honours for services to darts. He is World No. 1 (PDC) as of late 2025, and founded D16 Property Group Ltd in 2025.
How he made his money
Littler’s wealth comes from PDC prize money — around £3 million in cumulative career prize money — from endorsements with Target Darts, Xbox, boohooMAN, KP Snacks, McDonald’s and Falken Tyres, and from exhibitions, worth an estimated £150,000 to £375,000 a year. A multi-year Target Darts deal has been reported at approximately £20 million over 10 years — that is a reported figure, not a confirmed one.
Net worth over the years
Estimates of Littler’s wealth disagree more than for almost any other name in this series. The most recent reporting clusters at £6 million to £6.5 million, but older and lower estimates put him at £1.4 million to £1.6 million, £1.6 million to £2.4 million, or £2 million to £6 million. The £6 million to £6.5 million figure is the most recent estimate, not a settled fact — and it has risen fast, driven by the £1 million prize for retaining the world title in January 2026.
Personal life
Littler was born in Warrington, Cheshire. He founded D16 Property Group Ltd in 2025.
