Leeds Christmas Market 2026: Dates, Opening Hours and Visitor Guide

Leeds Christmas Market returns from Thursday 19 November to Wednesday 23 December 2026, centred on City Square, directly outside Leeds railway station, with further stalls and attractions at Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens.

The market is run by operator Fabler and Co (THOR’S) in partnership with Leeds City Council. Around 60 Yorkshire traders take part, and the site also includes the THOR’S Tipi Bar, Highland Lodge and Folié Ski Bar, plus the Ice Cube ice rink at Millennium Square.

City Square

City Square is the main market site, right outside Leeds railway station, which makes it the easiest of the UK’s big Christmas markets to reach by train — the stalls begin as soon as you leave the station. The market stalls and Leeds Street Food here open Sunday to Thursday from 10.30am to 7pm, and Friday to Saturday from 10.30am to 8pm.

Millennium Square and the Ice Cube

Millennium Square holds further stalls and the Ice Cube ice rink. The rink runs from 19 November to 31 December 2026, so it stays open for eight days after the market stalls close on 23 December. The rink is separately ticketed.

Victoria Gardens

Victoria Gardens is the third market location, with further stalls and attractions alongside City Square and Millennium Square. Together the three sites make up the Leeds Christmas offer for 2026.

THOR’S bars

The THOR’S Tipi Bar, Highland Lodge and Folié Ski Bar are part of the market, but they keep their own hours, separate from the stalls. The Highland Lodge and Folié Ski Bar open Sunday to Tuesday from 11am to 9pm, and Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 11pm. If you are planning an evening visit, check the bar hours rather than the stall hours.
